About the Role

This is where you come in. Below, you’ll find what this role is all about—the impact you’ll drive, the challenges you’ll tackle, and what it takes to thrive at Addi. If you’re ready to be part of something big, keep reading.

What’s the mission you’ll drive

Ensure the security, reliability, and resilience of Addi's systems by focusing on real-time security operations, threat detection, and incident response. This role will be responsible for proactively monitoring for threats, managing security incidents, and improving the organization's security posture through robust logging, alerting, and forensic analysis. The goal is to keep Addi's systems resilient against cyber threats while maintaining high availability and performance.

What you will do

  • Achieve a 90% reduction in average time to detect (MTTD) and average time to respond (MTTR) to critical security incidents within the first six months by optimizing and automating our SIEM and SOAR solutions.

  • Reduce the number of critical security vulnerabilities by 50% in our production environment within the first year by creating and enforcing a robust vulnerability management process and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure timely remediation.

  • Develop and implement an automated incident response framework that includes clear, tested runbooks for the top five most common security incidents, reducing manual intervention by 70% and ensuring rapid containment and mitigation.

  • Ensure 100% compliance with ISO 27001 security controls by implementing automated and continuous compliance checks and providing clear, actionable feedback to engineering teams, proactively identifying and addressing security drifts.

  • Integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline to provide just-in-time security feedback and automated remediation for common misconfigurations, reducing the average time to fix security findings by 40% and fostering a "security-first" culture among developers.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven SecOps & Cloud Security Expertise:

    • 5+ years in SecOps, cloud security, or cybersecurity engineering, with experience in fintech or high-scale SaaS environments.

    • Experience in implementing SIEM/SOAR solutions (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Sentinel, Datadog Security) for proactive threat detection.

  • Strong Compliance & Risk Management Knowledge:

    • Strong understanding of ISO 27001, ensuring adherence to security compliance requirements.

  • Proven Automation & Scalability Experience:

    • Understanding of software best practices to redirect issues to technical teams.

  • Demonstrates Outstanding Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership:

    • Ability to align security priorities with engineering, product, and compliance teams.
