About the Role
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) remote position.
As a PMHNP at Affect, you will lead member care alongside counselors, therapists, peer support specialists, and case managers. You’ll provide evidence-based treatment for individuals living with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions in a fully virtual setting.
We prescribe Suboxone for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder and do not prescribe other controlled substances. Affect provides extensive training in evidence-based treatment approaches, while clinical decision-making remains at the provider’s discretion in collaboration with the member.
An active, unrestricted Oregon license is required.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial and follow-up telehealth evaluations

Diagnose and treat substance use and mental health conditions

Prescribe medications as clinically appropriate

Complete timely documentation in our EHR (Healthie)

Collaborate with your care team and attend scheduled team meetings
Qualifications
-
Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in Oregon (and state of residence, if different)

Active DEA registration with experience prescribing Suboxone

At least 2 years of PMHNP experience preferred (addiction or behavioral health strongly preferred; strong relevant experience considered)

Medicaid enrollment preferred

Willingness to obtain additional state licensure (cost covered by Affect)

Comfort working independently in a virtual environment

Strong documentation and communication skills

Empathy and commitment to serving individuals with behavioral health challenges
Work Environment
You must maintain a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with reliable high-speed internet to conduct telehealth visits. This role may include occasional internal meetings; reasonable accommodations are available as needed.
