You Will
- Support complex business initiatives as Altana launches new products and services
- Lead financial statement preparation
- Support various projects including strategic tax planning, future technical accounting standards adoption, and financial statement benchmarking
- Support controllership function to maintain accurate monthly close results
- Contribute to contract design and negotiations to align with US GAAP and reporting requirements
- Review lease agreements to identify embedded leases and apply appropriate accounting guidance
- Support statutory reporting requirements domestically and internationally
- Support our transition to Netsuite
You Have - A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- CPA with Big 4 and in-house experience preferred
- 3-6+ years experience in accounting with preferably 2 years industry side at a software company
- Strong interest and experience working GAAP (SEC experience is a bonus)
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines
- Strong project management skills and detail orientation
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Online,Microsoft/Google suites and Netsuite
This is a Full-time role based out of our Brooklyn office, with hybrid work flexibility.
