What You’ll Do

  • Assemble, install, inspect, troubleshoot, and modify aircraft mechanical assemblies by interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, written and verbal assembly instructions, and test procedures from component level to full aircraft build.
  • Basic knowledge of wire harness fabrication and installation techniques.
  • Complete continuity checks, operational checks / verification and troubleshooting of various systems.
  • Exposed to hazardous materials.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Utilizing various pneumatic and power tools

What You Need

  • 3 -5 years of related experience in Aerospace and/or automotive industry.
  • This job will relocate to GA in 9-12 months, paid relocation services.
  • Familiar with the design controls, ISO and AS9100 requirements.
  • Must have hands on experience using shop tools and calibrated aerospace tooling including torque wrenches, crimping, and striping tools.
  • Understanding aircraft safety, tool control, FOD, and industry standards.
  • Experience working in a product development environment.
  • Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Google suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and highly regulated environment with adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
  • High school diploma or GED

Bonus Qualifications

  • Knowledge of FAA aircraft certification requirements for Part 23 aircraft
  • Composite repair, installation, and maintenance
  • New product development experience
  • Knowledge of IPC 610/620 & AC43.13-B.
  • Experience with electric aircraft.
  • A&P certification.

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
