Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 100 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

As the Head of Investor Relations, you will be Archer’s main interface with research analysts, investors, and other stakeholders. At the core of this role, you will be responsible for Archer’s holistic investor relations strategy, targeting, and outreach. You will also provide market intelligence to our leadership and inform the market of our strategies and performance. Archer is a visionary company and our VP of Investor Relations will be responsible for communicating this vision across the market. This is an exciting opportunity to build out this critical function for a Company that is disrupting sustainability and transportation.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop key investor messaging and a successful communications framework that articulates current performance and long-term strategy
  • Proactively interact with analysts and investors to understand market expectations and financial projections
  • Work closely with the CFO and senior leadership team in order to deeply understand our business, package our story, and create a two-way communication channel with investors
  • Proactively engage new potential investors on an ongoing basis
  • Engage in conferences, fireside chats, and analyst events
  • Facilitate financial analyst meetings, fielding questions that may arise before, during, and after the meeting
  • Lead development of quarterly and annual shareholder reports, coordinating with legal and finance teams
  • Oversee and manage quarterly earnings calls, as well as assist in the preparation of the company’s annual report, 10-K, and other key reports
  • Manage critical communications, representing messaging viewpoints for the investor community
  • Build out and maintain investor presentations and materials
  • Collaborate with the legal and finance departments to assure compliance with all securities laws and regulations

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
  • 10+ years of investment/business experience with background in finance, treasury, strategy and / or communication
  • Experience either leading the investor relations’ function for a publicly traded company or as a research analyst in the transportation, industrials or technology space
  • Familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
  • A strong network of investment community relationships
  • Good understanding of SEC Regulations and securities disclosure requirements, as well as filing requirements
  • Expert at building relationships and influencing critical external audiences
  • Have superb written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to draft engaging and messages for investors

At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $200,000 - $250,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
