  • Design and implement flight control requirements and algorithms for novel electric VTOL aircraft guidance, navigation, and control logics.
  • Design and implement requirements for the aircraft sensors and state estimation algorithms, including sensors selection, voting, monitoring, fault detection, and sensor fusion.
  • Implement creative solutions to efficiently verify complex systems and software
  • Run trade studies to inform aircraft design and system architecture
  • Improve the fidelity and capabilities of our vehicle and environment simulation models
  • Author and validate system and software requirements and test cases that drive the design of the GNC and State Estimation software
  • Support the integration and test of the flight control system and evaluate system performance during aircraft lab integration and flight test campaigns
  • Analyze flight and lab test data to improve our models
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineering to properly decompose higher level requirements
  • Collaborate with Systems Safety and Systems Engineering to identify and correct any deficiencies in the flight control system.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineering to properly implement and verify flight control system algorithms
