Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 100 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate across the organization to ensure Executive & VIP visits to the flight test site are executed flawlessly
  • Ensure all Hospitality needs of the Flight Test site are fulfilled
  • Coordinate with outside vendors, service providers, & Archers facilities team to make sure all facilities needs are met and functioning
  • Act as the site liaison between the Airport Manager, Hangar Landlord, and Archer internal
  • Create process documentation and SOP’s for the Flight Test site
  • Coordinate shipping logistics between Archer sites ensuring parts and equipment are sent and received in time to support Flight Test Operations
  • Ensure calibration of test equipment and tools is up to date and coordinate items to be sent out for service
  • Carry out weekly & monthly service checks of ground support equipment such as forklifts, aircraft jacks, and tow equipment
  • Monitor expiration dates for aircraft/hangar consumable supplies, first aid kits, applicable survival/emergency equipment
  • Meet scheduled timelines and, in some cases, aggressive project milestone deadlines
  • Assume any duties as delegated by the Director of Flight Test or Maintenance Manager

What You Need:

  • Driving of aircraft tugs, carts, and lifts within an airport environment
  • A collaborative attitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail with the ability to communicate and build cross-functional relationships
  • Work with all levels of personnel and effectively interact with executives to technicians
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, including the ability to give direction to others
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement activities to exceed expectations and help promote a professional hangar and organizational environment
  • Working Hours: Ability to work a flexible schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Previous Executive Assistant or Admin experience
  • Prior experience with electric aircraft/eVTOL
  • Experience working with Confluence, JIRA

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $122,880-$150,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
