What You’ll Do:
- Ensure corporate Safety Programs comply with evolving OSHA requirements (IIPP – Injury and Illness Prevention Program, COVID testing/vaccine requirements, recurring safety training)
- Serve as Occupational Safety Liaison to Safety Council and all departments to sustain a zero-injury workplace
- Consolidate behavior-based safety programs, policies, training and work practices into Accident Prevention Manual
- Coordinate Safety programs within Archer and with outsourced HSE service providers, contractors and consultants as primary contact
- Ensure compliant handling and management of waste streams: storage/inventory, manifests, disposal and reporting
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for safety programs such as Lock-out / Tag-out
- Monitor regulatory developments applicable to HSE programs
- Serve as on-site Agency Liaison for inspections, audit and enforcement
- Coordinate Facility Permitting (offices, laboratories and manufacturing)
What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Safety) or related profession with at least 6+ years’ experience in environmental engineering or health and safety or 10+ years of experience in environmental engineering or health and safety.
- Previous experience leading safety within a manufacturing organization
- Experience creating corporate safety culture programs, safety training modules
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with all facets of Lithium-ion battery storage, testing and use
- Aviation industry experience
- Working knowledge of Industrial Hygiene Principles, SARA 311/312/313 reporting, NSR Permitting

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
