Summary

We are looking for a Director of Marketing to play a pivotal role in executing Avo’s marketing strategy across all relevant areas: product marketing, growth, field marketing, brand, and communications.This is a highly cross-functional, hands-on leadership role. You will own the implementation of the quarterly marketing plan to directly impact pipeline generation and revenue. You’ll coach and develop teammates while also jumping into execution — whether that’s refining pricing strategy, drafting strategic communications, shaping sales materials, or optimizing campaign performance. This role will report to the VP of Marketing & Strategy, with opportunity for valuable mentorship and upwards growth. If you are a true marketing generalist with deep B2B healthtech experience who thrives in ambiguity, thinks like an operator, and holds a high bar for quality and impact, this is the position for you.

What We’re Looking For In This Role

  • 5+ years of marketing experience at a B2B healthtech company
  • Experience managing and/or coaching marketing teammates
  • Generalist expertise across product marketing, growth marketing, field, brand, and communications
  • Track record of building and executing quarterly marketing strategies across multiple campaigns, channels, and stakeholders
  • Excellent strategic communication skills both written and verbal, across PR, owned content, sales materials, and executive presence
  • Experience supporting end-to-end GTM strategy, market and customer research, product launches and co-marketing efforts with external parties
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Partnerships
  • Strong analytical rigor and comfort reviewing and optimizing metrics

Your Day-to-Day

  • Execute the Marketing Strategy: Manage the quarterly marketing plan aligned to company goals and support prioritization of initiatives across all areas of marketing, reviewing metrics and optimizing regularly.
  • Strategic Communications & Brand: Help bring cohesive messaging to life across PR, owned content, sales enablement, case studies, and co-marketing efforts.
  • Support Product Marketing and Partnerships: Partner with product marketing on pricing strategy, packaging, market research, launches, and more.
  • Drive Pipeline with Integrated Campaigns: Help execute growth and outbound campaigns and support field strategy with other members of the marketing and BDR team.
  • Coach Team Members: Be a player-coach and support all members of the marketing team in providing feedback and jumping in as needed.
