About Convoy Convoy is building the “AI-powered CFO” for medical groups. Our platform delivers benchmarking, revenue forecasting, vendor optimization, and capital access with minimal lift from customers. Our data strategy embraces federated, zero lift implementation, while our product vision embraces agentic software development, where AI tools serve as first-class collaborators in building healthcare infrastructure. ** Role Overview** We’re hiring a Product Lead / CPO to help us bring Convoy’s vision to life. This role combines technical product leadership with hands-on ownership of Convoy’s AI-powered financial and data platform. You’ll shape product strategy, lead high-impact feature development, and guide the orchestration of AI, automation, and data engineering systems.

You should be excited about the intersection of healthcare data, agentic AI development, intelligent UI/UX, and privacy-first infrastructure. You'll partner with engineering, design, and customers to scale Convoy’s zero-lift, federated architecture.

This is both a strategic and deeply technical role.

Key Responsibilities

AI Product Strategy & Agent Orchestration

  • Define and scale agent-based workflows for onboarding, benchmarking, and vendor optimization.
  • Lead design of modular LLM-powered workflows across Convoy’s product modules.
  • Develop standards for prompt design, model switching, delegation strategies, and validation routines.

Zero-Lift Onboarding &Federated Data Integration

  • Own roadmap and architecture for schema mapping, PHI-safe data access, and federated ingestion pipelines.
  • Ensure deployments minimize customer IT burden and operate within HIPAA and SOC2 boundaries.
  • Direct development of containerized onboarding agents, Flatfile/CSV flows, and real-time schema auto-discovery.

AI-Driven Product Engineering

  • Integrate LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain) into key product features including co-pilot assistants and natural language querying.
  • Architect systems for context-aware reasoning, multi-agent handoffs, and metadata-augmented pipelines.
  • Validate AI output quality and verification logic across forecasting, benchmarking, and financial modeling.

Leadership &Cross-Functional Execution

  • Define product roadmap aligned to customer feedback, regulatory shifts, and strategic priorities.
  • Drive coordination across design, engineering, data science, and sales for launch- readiness.
  • Serve as an internal evangelist for Convoy’s approach to AI-native product development.

Ideal Background &Experience

  • 6–10+ years of experience in product management, technical leadership, or full-stack product development
  • Strong fluency with LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and orchestration frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, etc.)
  • Experience working with federated query engines, dbt, Airbyte, OpenMetadata, or Supabase
  • Track record of building products with healthcare data (RCM, EMR, HL7/FHIR, CPT/HCPCS/ICD)
  • Familiarity with AWS, VPC-contained deployments, and secure infrastructure design
  • Comfort with roadmap ownership, cross-functional leadership, and customer-facing collaboration

Bonus Experience

  • Prior experience as a founding product leader or early-stage startup builder
  • Hands-on exposure to benchmarking, pricing, or capital market tools in healthcare or fintech
  • Understanding of agent debugging, verification pipelines, and model evaluation strategies
  • Experience managing privacy-preserving feature design in regulated data environments

Key Traits

  • Systems thinker comfortable with abstraction, decomposition, and prompt-based design
  • Mission-aligned with a belief in transforming healthcare finance through intelligent software
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functionally and align technical and product goals
  • Clear, structured communicator capable of interfacing with executives, engineers, and external partners
