We are looking for an exceptional

US Accountant (w/m/d)

About the role:

As our first inhouse accountant for everphone Inc you will be responsible for the US books, financials and all related tasks, including coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with our external advisors and bookkeepers as well as with our internal Sales and Operations teams. In coordination with the Headquarter you will start to take over tasks and responsibilities to build our inhouse accounting in the US.

What you'll do in detail:

Take ownership of the daily tasks and processes of our US financials
You are responsible for our all our US books (accounts receivable, accounts payables, bank, assets, filing and communication with suppliers, tax advisor and customers)
Your are responsible to manage inter-company recharges, calculations, invoices and allocations from the US side and the communication with the german finance team
General administrative tasks and coordination with our Operations and Sales Teams
Perform other accounting duties/ad-hoc projects as needed
Take ownership of the monthly close process by delivering consistent and accurate closings
Reconciliations with US tax advisors/ext. Accounting
Final intercompany reconciliation and checks

What you’ll need:

Experience as Accountant, Tax Accountant, Accounting Manager, Tax Assistant, Financial Accountant, or similar
2-5 years relevant work experience in US GAAP / US TAX in an international environment
Accounting knowledge according to US GAAP (depreciation, interests, accruals/provisions, prepaid expenses, impairments, etc)
Excel-fit, German as a plus
Desire for further development towards IFRS, German GAAP & Consolidation
