About the role
As an Operations Manager (w/m/d), you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of our daily rental and return processes. You will be responsible for managing critical operational workflows, identifying and resolving backend anomalies, and driving continuous optimization and automation across our systems.
What you'll do
- Manage the end-to-end rental lifecycle, including creation, adjustments, and terminations
- Oversee return processes to ensure data accuracy and alignment across internal and third-party systems
- Detect and resolve anomalies in backend operations, such as invoicing discrepancies or return mismatches
- Investigate unknown or lost devices and follow up accordingly
- Create invoices, credit notes, and bulk sale lists for returned or unreturned devices
- Maintain and clean up reporting tools, including anomaly and return case reports
- Support the development and improvement of operational processes in close cooperation with the Product team
- Conduct monthly reviews and checks of rental and COMP invoices to ensure financial accuracy
- Provide regular operational updates to Account Managers and relevant stakeholders

What you’ll need
- First experience in a structured operational or administrative environment, ideally involving data management, reporting, or process handling
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in working with complex data
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain focus
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace, with very good skills in Google Sheets
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, BigQuery – a plus)
- Fast learner with a comprehensive understanding of operational processes and how they interconnect
- A structured, process-driven mindset with flexibility to adapt in a constantly evolving environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Fluency in English (min. C1)
