Responsibilities

Product Management

  • Assist PM in creation of travel programs, touring itineraries and package tours for EXO’s sales initiatives and for brochures.
  • Control that supplier information is collected on time and that product information is store correctly resulting in a comprehensive, well managed database.
  • Assist PM to develop and improve travel products in destination suitable for clients.
  • Research and follow up constant contact with suppliers.
  • Create PDF presentation files of all preferred hotels, restaurants and boats in destination.
  • Produce annual tariff for the Country for distribution to overseas travel partners.
  • Ensure rates and conditions at preferred hotels are optimal and best possible rates.
  • Travel within destination to experience new travel products.
  • Write a report after any inspection trips with tour and training modules to follow.

Communication: staff training; marketing; and client relations

  • Assist PM to present new products to sales teams for each market to achieve product knowledge and promote sales. 
  • Be a “Knowledge bank” for the whole office and the “go-to” person for ideas.
  • Provide regular training for all inbound teams.
  • Arrange FAM trips for overseas agents and accompany agents on such trips when necessary.

Database Management

  • Ensure all products and tariffs are input in the company software system.
  • Ensure all suppliers and agents are entered as per company policy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism or other related.
  • 2 years’ experience in Tourism product, sales and/or marketing or a similar role.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English (other foreign language is a plus).
  • Team player with a positive and dynamic personality.

Skills

  • Good product knowledge of the destinations.
  • Comprehensive travel industry knowledge.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organization skills.
  • Ability to take decisions and solve problems on your own.
  • Strong team work & voluntarily help your departmental co-workers.
  • Good computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
