Business Insider is seeking an Editorial Head of Video to lead our award-winning video journalism team, spanning the US and UK. This team is at the forefront of creating impactful, editorially driven videos that inform and inspire audiences worldwide.
As one of the largest media companies on YouTube, BI was recently honored with the Diamond Creator Award for surpassing 10 million subscribers. Our team is currently a finalist for a Loeb award in video for Satellite Images Track Four Gaza Businesses Upended by War. We continue to innovate, and the Editorial Head of Video will be central to shaping the next chapter of our video storytelling.
The leader of BI’s video team will set the agenda for our ambitious franchises. This leader will partner with our GM of video to help expand into FAST channels, and diversify our distribution platforms to reach even broader audiences.
This role is highly collaborative, requiring strong editorial judgment, production expertise, and organizational excellence. Reporting to the editor-in-chief, this person will work closely across the newsroom and with stakeholders in product, revenue, and business development teams to build a bold, future-facing video strategy.
This role is based in our New York City headquarters, and requires working from the office at least four days a week.
