Currently, we are growing our insurance team to reach ambitious milestones over the next 12-24 months. Responsibilities:

  • Develop modern microservices backend using Go, modern Java, Terraform, Kubernetes
  • Design application architectures, make difficult technical decisions with tradeoffs
  • Touch every aspect of software engineering: from ideas to requirements, implementation, deployment and testing
  • Contribute to the team culture, take part in hiring
  • Learn by doing, experiment with newest technologies and stacks
  • Build products at the cutting edge of security compliance and risk management

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience developing complex software applications
  • Experience with AI-native software development (Claude Code, Codex)
  • Experience with Go or Java, desire to learn and use both
  • Experience with NoSQL databases
  • Experience building microservices in Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS/Fargate, or other container frameworks
  • Desire to learn the latest software development practices and apply them in real product development
  • Founder mindset, tremendous work ethic, and excellent written/verbal skills

Bonus:

  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with Temporal or other workflow engines
  • Experience with Hashicorp Terraform
