Lazo is a B2B platform that handles the back office — tax, bookkeeping, legal, and payroll — for founders building companies with US entities. We're a fast-growing, fully remote team that combines expert services with technology to take operational complexity off founders' plates so they can focus on building.

We're building toward an AI-first operating model — where technology handles the repetitive work and our people focus on judgment, expertise, and clients. This PM role is central to making that shift real.

The role

We're looking for a Project Manager to keep our cross-functional work moving. You'll sit at the intersection of our operations and product teams, turning needs into clear plans, keeping projects on track, and making sure things actually get shipped and closed. This is a hands-on ownership role, not an administrative one.

What you'll do

  • Drive projects end to end. Translate requirements into clear, actionable plans and own delivery from kickoff to close.

  • Coordinate the day to day. Manage priorities, track progress, and unblock dependencies across teams.

  • Keep everything visible. Maintain clear status on every initiative — what's done, what's blocked, what's next.

  • Run an effective cadence. Facilitate standups, planning, and retros so every meeting ends with clear decisions and owners.

  • Document with rigor. Keep processes, decisions, and knowledge organized and easy to find.

  • Measure and report. Track the metrics that matter and prepare clear updates for leadership.

What we're looking for

  • Startup mindset. High autonomy and ownership. When something's broken, you fix it or escalate it — you don't wait to be told.

  • Reliable and organized. People trust that what's on your plate is under control, and you follow things through to the end.

  • Strong communicator. Clear and honest, able to bridge technical and non-technical conversations.

  • Experienced. Prior project management, operations, or coordination experience in fast-paced environments.

  • Tool-savvy. Comfortable with modern project management tools and eager to use technology to work smarter.

  • Excited about AI. You see tools like AI copilots as a way to multiply your output, and you want to help reshape how an operations team works around them.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or professional services.

  • English fluency (we work with US-based clients).

  • Familiarity with structured operating frameworks for planning and execution.
