We’re looking for a hardworking, driven Partner Sales specialist with superb energy, passion and initiative to drive partner awareness and channel new business for the fastest growing database on the planet, MongoDB. The Partner Sales team focuses exclusively on formulating and executing a pipeline generation strategy through Partners within assigned territories, resulting in aggressive pipeline growth and new customer acquisition.

This role can be based out of our Bengaluru office or remotely in the India region.

Responsibilities

  • Market Development for existing Investment BSI Partners (IBPs)
    • Launch & Execute GTM campaigns with IBPs leveraging regional SI partner specialists
    • Track leads and support deal closures by working in liaison with sales, IBP, regional SI specialist and PS (if applicable)
    • Create IBP sales enablement material, offerings and thought leadership with support from marketing
  • Manage, Develop and Report IBP Pipeline
    • Liaise with Sales, PS, regional SI specialists to ensure all IBP opportunities are tagged appropriately in SFDC
    • Facilitate, Participate & track IBP pipeline calls
    • Reporting and key metrics tracking for IBP pipeline
  • Support evaluation of new IBPs
    • Execute sales pilot with new potential IBPs
    • Validate the market opportunity and support business case

Requirements

  • 5+ years field experience of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on new business
  • 5+ years of quota-carrying experience generating pipeline and selling through Cloud Partners, Global/Regional System Integrators and ISV in a heavy sales matrix model
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • A track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets.
  • Skilled in building business champions and running a complex sales process
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
  • Familiarity with databases, devops and open source technology a plus
  • Driven and competitive: Possess a strong desire to be successful
  • Skilled in managing time and resources; sound approach to qualifying opportunities
  • Possess aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility. High EQ and self-aware.
  • Passionate about growing your career in the largest market in software (database) and developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of MongoDB products.
