Field Enablement is delivered through the Global Sales Enablement organization and, as a team, reports to the Chief Revenue Officer. The team’s responsibilities include implementing and evolving our sales methodology, delivering relevant enablement & training programs, providing targeted coaching, optimizing sales resources, and equipping leadership with actionable insights. We are constantly piloting and innovating our programs including leveraging technology, tools, and AI/ML to accelerate productivity.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Dublin Office for our hybrid working model.

The Manager, Sales Enablement, is a featured part of the team designed to strategically improve performance of the sales organization.

Responsibilities include

  • Key member of the Field Enablement and Advisory team supporting MongoDB’s Growth segment
  • Design, develop and execute Sales Enablement solutions that align with strategic initiatives and overall business unit goals
  • Design and develop training curricula within time constraints
  • Establish relationships with Sales Leadership to translate feedback in clear and actionable ways.
  • Run skills gaps analysis to Identify areas of improvement in current sales representatives’ processes and mitigate future risk
  • Partner with cross-departmental units (business operations, marketing, channel, product, systems) to ensure all initiatives and programs run smoothly
  • Help to create and maintain impact analysis for current and new programs with clear iteration processes.
  • Monitor sales objectives and results as they relate to live sessions, asynchronous learning modules and workshop attendance
  • Coach sellers and managers on best practices, selling skills, and strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Provide continuous learning ever-boarding initiatives including sales process, sales methodologies,
  • Production of in-person & virtual trainings with domain expertise and passion
  • Development of content that makes complex concepts easy to understand
  • Providing subject matter expertise to the field through both eLearning, remote learning, and in-person sessions
  • Leverage our suite of enablement and sales tools to enhance development and accelerate productivity

In your first 60 days, you will

  • Familiarize yourself with our business model, organizational structure, and sales collateral
  • Attend new hire sales training to learn about MongoDB’s technology, what we sell, and how we sell
  • Gain competency with our sales enablement tools (Chorus, Highspot, MindTickle) and content development process
  • Shadow a key enablement training and support the completion of ~30% of related tasks
  • Dive deep into team objectives and individual responsibilities
  • Be a major contributor to content development for a net new training (eLearning or in-person)
  • Work with sales leadership to understand gaps and prioritize programs to develop and execute
  • Collaborate with the sales leaders in your region and segment to ensure the quality and execution of enablement programs are timely, relevant, and impactful

The ideal candidate will have

  • 2+ years in sales enablement
  • 3+ years field sales experience
  • Experience training sellers of various levels of seniority both in-person and remotely via Zoom or similar technology
  • A high degree of confidence and poise when presenting to a sales audience and executives - the ability to see the ‘big picture’ when managing a room
  • A track record of developing impactful strategic programs
  • Experience implementing Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
  • Command of The Message Certified
  • Familiarity with databases, developers, and open source technology a plus
  • Self-starter mentality with a high degree of follow-through - can own and take tasks through to completion
  • Interpersonal skills- the ability to network inside the company, create relationships, and source input
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of their time
