This position requires a driven individual who is able to work with senior leadership comfortably, execute tasks from start to finish, and who enjoys working across multiple functional areas in a fast-paced and challenging environment. This role will lead a newly created team of analysts which will link our sales strategy team and our sales commission team. This newly created team will be under the global sales commission umbrella, in our Finance and Accounting organization. In this role, you will be leading a team providing management and administrative support for compensation programs. Specifically, your team will be responsible for contributing to the planning, design and reporting of sales attainment metrics, driving the business forward by contributing to improving our sales productivity.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives to identify and execute against opportunities to improve our business
Drive audit policy for all commission plans and identify areas of risk
Investigate audit findings and put corrective measures in place and update policies
Maintain deep knowledge of sales compensation and related systems to help project manage as needed
Conduct ad-hoc analysis in support of cross-functional stakeholders and executive management across all business functions
Gathering and documenting detailed business requirements
Embed yourself with other teams in the company to understand the relevant questions and needs of the business, and use that to inform analysis
Provides insight analysis on sales incentive effectiveness, and continually enhance dashboard visualizations
Builds and maintains strong collaborations with key business partners within Sales, Finance and HR
Effectively communicate analytical findings to non-technical audiences

Requirements

BA/BS; MBA is preferred
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work in a self-guided manner
6+ years of experience in business/sales strategy and operations with 2-3 years as a management consultant or in a comparable role at a technology company; SaaS experience is a plus
Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions including the ability to structure problems for analysis
Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize strategic insights in an actionable and compelling manner
Confidence using SQL for fetching and manipulating data; experience with a scripting language such as Python or R is a plus
You can navigate your way around Salesforce with relative ease
Ability to move quickly and iterate on analyses
Advanced Excel and Google Slides or PowerPoint skills

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. $90,000—$176,000 USD
