We are looking for a strategic marketer to support our regional marketing efforts in North America. You’ll be driving MongoDB’s value proposition and marketing strategy to support overall goals for the wider AMER Field Marketing team. Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, and executing programs that generate new leads, marketing qualified leads, and ultimately new or expanding opportunities. You will need to have a laser focus on growing the conversion rates of leads to sales qualified opportunities through targeted in-person and virtual tactics.

The role will report into the Lead, North America Field Marketing and can be based in San Francisco, Austin, Atlanta, Toronto, Boston, or New York.

Role Expectations

  • Closely integrate with the wider Field Marketing team to support the needs of their sales teams through regional marketing plans
  • Work cross-functionally with various marketing teams to coordinate programs from end-to-end including Partner Marketing, Industry and Solutions, Strategic Events and Developer Relations
  • Own the set-up of landing pages, design assets, email promotions and timelines for virtual and in-person events
  • In collaboration with our Strategic Events team, support the coordination and execution of local trade shows and MongoDB.local events
  • Utilize multiple channels and self-serve technologies to execute campaigns
  • Continuously improve processes and source, test, and evaluate potential new lead-driving activities
  • Demonstration of a metrics-driven approach to success and can show Return on Investment by supervising results from funded/co-marketing activity against budget
  • 20-30% travel

Candidate Profile

Our ideal candidate for this role will have the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a technology company
  • 3 years field marketing, event management, and/or demand generation/marketing experience in a technology company
  • Ability to be both strategic and tactical in order to prioritize opportunities, test, and implement successful campaigns
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed model, coordinating and collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders and colleagues to deliver high quality campaigns with tight timelines
  • Outstanding project management and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite for Business
  • Familiarity with CRM, Marketing Automation and Data systems is a plus; Salesforce, Marketo and Tableau experience
  • Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in new technologies
  • Efficient, highly productive multitasker and self-motivated individual
  • Able to quickly adapt and comfortable with change in a fast paced environment.
  • Team-player, willing to help other team members succeed

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

$56,000$110,000 USD
