We’re looking for a Principal Sourcing Specialist who can partner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to develop strategies to find candidates for our Engineering teams in the Americas region. You will be working to find creative ways of surfacing top talent and activating passive candidates through a highly engaged approach.

Shift Timings: 2:00 PM-10:00 PM (Cabs provided subject to transport boundaries)

Work Location: Gurugram

What you’ll do...

Reporting into Lead - Talent Sourcing, as an individual contributor, you would be responsible for:

  • Work closely with recruiters to gain a deep understanding of requirements for open roles, the function and how it fits into the organization
  • Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute research
  • Driving hiring for niche functions including product, technology to support fast-paced business growth
  • Research market and trends for company mapping and present the detailed findings to stakeholders per need basis.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects involving research work on talent mapping across MongoDB’s competitors
  • Develop a strong understanding of the MongoDB tech stack and a familiarity with the needs of all Engineering teams
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to sourcing and recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within MongoDB's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer
  • Utilize all sourcing channels such as niche sites, professional and social networking sites/groups, and possible search engines to locate both active and passive candidates; conduct resume mining and research for internal positions; build candidate lists into Candidate Resource Management system
  • Proactively connect with top talent and build a strong talent pipeline for critical business functions and reduce time to hire
  • Participates in team-wide initiatives and projects
  • Mentors other less tenured during onboarding, training and their development

We’re looking for someone with…

  • 7+ years of experience working with and building sourcing strategies with Recruiters and hiring managers with an in-house recruiting team
  • Experience in sourcing/hiring for the North America region
  • Advanced experience using LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing and talent research
  • A consultative approach and strong understanding of technology
  • Excellent research/sourcing skills with the ability to search for hard-to-fill reqs
  • Experience with social-media hiring (Linkedin, Twitter, FB etc.) and other sourcing channels Github, Stackoverflow/Seekout. Familiarity with Gem CRM and Greenhouse ATS is preferred.
  • Robust interpersonal skills with a strong track record of success
  • Must have worked in a high-pressure environment that is driven by business-priorities and stakeholder enabling scenarios
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer Science or a related bachelor’s degree
