The Central Sales Analytics team at MongoDB partners closely with our global Sales, Sales Operations, FP&A, Strategy & Planning and Compensation organizations to drive data‑informed decision making. We focus on understanding sales performance, optimizing productivity, improving funnel visibility, and ensuring our teams have access to high‑quality insights. As a Senior Data Analyst II, you will play a key role in shaping how the Sales organization leverages data by building scalable analytics, conducting deep‑dive analyses, and developing data products that guide strategic decisions. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on MongoDB’s revenue engine while working in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment.

Position Expectations/Role Responsibilities/What you’ll do

  • Partner with Sales, Sales Operations, FP&A, and Compensation teams to surface insights that improve pipeline health, quota attainment, and overall sales performance
  • Build analytical models and frameworks to measure funnel conversion, seller productivity, and commission effectiveness
  • Develop high‑quality dashboards and data products that enable self‑service reporting for sales leaders
  • Lead deep‑dive analyses on sales performance trends and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Architecture, and IT teams to enhance and maintain curated sales datasets
  • Support data governance and data quality processes, identifying inconsistencies and resolving root causes
  • Present analytical findings to stakeholders across levels, ensuring clarity and alignment on key insights

Qualifications/Requirements/We’re looking for someone with

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Analytics, Revenue Analytics, or a related data analyst role
  • Advanced SQL skills and proficiency with Python or R
  • Experience analyzing large datasets and developing clear business insights for technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to create automated dashboards for self‑service use, ideally in Tableau
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data quality, and data governance practices
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally and independently drive projects from scoping through execution
  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
  • Experience working in SaaS, GTM, or high‑growth environments preferred
