Position Summary
The Senior Director of International GTM FP&A serves as the lead finance executive and strategic partner for the EMEA and APAC Sales and GTM organizations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and insights, ensuring optimal business performance and strategic decision-making. This role will partner closely with international sales leadership, sales operations, deal strategy and accounting teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering & Revenue Optimization
- Serve as a strategic business partner to Sales and Deal Strategy, providing financial insights and expertise to structure large, complex enterprise agreements
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to the EMEA and APAC sales leadership, supporting strategic initiatives, resource allocation, and compensation planning
- Partner with sales operations evolving business insights to drive business outcomes
Regional Controllership & Planning
- Lead the financial forecasting and planning processes for the EMEA and APAC regions, ensuring forecasting accuracy in revenue predictability, spend and headcount
- Provide executive-level analysis, partnering with sales operations, offering insights into booking trends, churn metrics, and operating expenses
- Lead the financial narrative for International Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), identifying risks and opportunities related to segment revenue performance, profitability and market expansion
- Drive process improvement focusing on continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the international sales finance function
Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead, build, motivate, and develop a high-performance geographically distributed team of finance professionals
- Foster a culture of commercial partnership across organizations, transforming the function from a reporting entity into a strategic enabler of sales execution
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required. MBA or CPA/ACCA are highly preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience, with at least 5 years in Commercial Finance, Sales Controllership, or Revenue Accounting/Operations within a global technology company
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in the Enterprise Software/SaaS industry is required
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge working with subscription or consumption-based SAAS models and complex enterprise software deal structures
- Operational Scope: Proven track record of leading financially focused sales and GTM execution across organizations
