The Opportunity

The Regional Director, Enterprise Growth — France will lead a high-performing sales team focused on expanding existing enterprise customers, landing new workloads, and delivering sustained revenue growth across France.

You will own the recruitment, enablement, and execution strategy for your territory. You will coach and develop Enterprise Account Executives, build a healthy sales pipeline, navigate complex enterprise buying processes, and drive consistent execution against bookings and revenue goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach, develop, and empower Enterprise Account Executives to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings objectives
  • Build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, execution, talent development, and customer impact
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, ramp, develop, and retain exceptional Enterprise Account Executives in line with MongoDB’s hiring criteria
  • Enable the team to proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and build a healthy sales pipeline
  • Coach the team to grow existing business, land new workloads, and navigate complex negotiations and enterprise organizations
  • Develop a deep understanding of MongoDB products and use that expertise to mentor and enable the sales team
  • Drive disciplined adoption and expertise in MongoDB’s validated sales methodology, including MEDDIC
  • Foster strong customer and business relationships that create expansion and growth opportunities
  • Establish a rigorous operating rhythm across weekly forecasting, pipeline inspection, territory planning, and performance management
  • Scale and strategically plan territory coverage, resource allocation, and go-to-market execution in line with business priorities
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Solutions Consulting, Professional Services, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to improve customer outcomes and generate regional demand
  • Serve as a visible role model for MongoDB’s values and Leadership Commitment, inspiring the team to think big, take ownership, and deliver meaningful outcomes

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Must-Have Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience recruiting and managing a highly successful, talented direct software sales team while driving the team toward its goals
  • Five or more years of quota-carrying field sales experience in a fast-paced, competitive market
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a complex enterprise sales process
  • A proven track record of overachievement and consistently exceeding sales targets
  • Proven experience of expanding the business in the Enterprise segment
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology to senior business and technical stakeholders
  • Skilled in building business champions, including at the executive level
  • Strong experience coaching, developing, and empowering sales professionals to improve performance and grow their careers
  • Driven, competitive, and motivated by a strong desire to achieve meaningful results
  • Fluent in French

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous training in sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales
  • Familiarity with databases, developer tools, cloud platforms, or open source technology
  • Experience translating product innovation and technical differentiation into repeatable enterprise sales motions
  • Experience leading customer expansion, cross-sell, and land-and-expand strategies
