Pearl Health
Who we are. . .
Pearl Health is powering the future of healthcare. We help primary care providers and organizations to deliver quality healthcare to the patients who need it most, when they need it most — and get rewarded for keeping patients healthy.
Our technology, services, and financial tools enable better, more proactive care, decrease total cost of care across patient panels, and optimize performance in value-based care models for Traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage.
We are a team of physicians and public health experts (Stanford, Harvard, Mount Sinai), technologists (athenahealth, Amazon, Meta, Flatiron), healthcare innovators (Centivo, Aledade, Stellar, Arcadia), and experienced risk management professionals (CVS/Aetna, Humana, Oscar) who believe that primary care providers are the key to addressing our healthcare system’s biggest challenges.
Since its founding in 2020, Pearl has expanded to partner with thousands of primary care providers in practices and organizations across 44 states. Our investors include Andreessen Horowitz, Viking Global Investors, AlleyCorp, and SV Angel.
What we hope you can do...
We're hiring a senior product manager to help lead our Data Ops function — the engine behind how data flows reliably, safely, and at scale through Pearl. This role isn’t about surface-level prioritization — it’s about owning the plumbing that powers the business. You’ll be on point for making sure the files, pipelines, and processes that support our operations actually work, especially when it counts.
You’ll take the lead on ensuring CMS claims (CCLF), ADT feeds, and third-party data like Ursa get where they need to go, on time and without surprises. You’ll also be building the long-term muscle: automation, better monitoring, smoother intake, and fewer fires. The team is working on high-volume ingestion, split file generation, and preparing our pipelines for MSSP and MA scale in 2025 — so there's no shortage of critical work.
What a Senior Product Manager means to us...
Set direction: Own the roadmap of the team from near-term priorities to long-term vision. Make sure we’re building what matters, when it matters.
Own the flow: You're on point for the data plumbing that drives our core operations (CMS claims, ADT feeds, split file services, and external vendors). You’ll define the roadmap and keep things running without surprises.
Stay sharp under pressure: You’ll triage issues as they arise while making room for upstream fixes and long-term investments. You know when to jump in, when to escalate, and when to step back and rethink the system.
Build for scale: Help us move away from manual fixes and toward pipelines that run themselves at the volume, frequency, and reliability we’ll need as we expand into new markets
Bridge the teams: Make it easier for Ops, Analytics, and Engineering to work together by bringing structure, visibility, and clarity to the work..
Be a translator: Make complex data ops work understandable to partners across the company. Be the person who can both dig into a root cause and explain it clearly to a VP
Drive delivery across teams: Keep engineering focused, unblock decisions, and make sure our vendors stay accountable
Grow with the role: Initially focused on 1–2 squads, but with room to expand into 3–5. Strong ICs welcome; management experience a plus as the team scales.
8+ years of software product management experience, with a strong track record of achieving business outcomes through product delivery
End-to-end experience in the product lifecycle, from problem definition through to general release and scalability
You’ve shipped real products that had real stakes preferably in data-heavy or operationally intense environments.
You know how to manage ambiguity and don’t need every edge case defined to get moving. But you also know when something’s too fuzzy to make actionable.
You’ve built trust with cross-functional teams and know how to show up for operations, analytics, and engineering in ways that make the whole system work better.
Experience working in an early stage startup, with the willingness and ability to own a product domain from the earliest stages (research, discovery, and validation) through to execution and scalability
Ability to grow initial product domain into a product zone, hiring and managing a team as Pearl grows and expands
Expert in product execution processes, cadence, and tools
Comfortable presenting and articulating ideas to the team, leadership, and stakeholders
Healthcare experience preferred, and a passion for improving the lives of primary care physicians required
Willingness to travel for internal company meetings and customer site visits as needed
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
