The Category Management team consists of category managers, designers and setup specialists. We help customers and partners achieve business goals by leveraging the Printify platform. We're experts in technology and print-on-demand best practices. As a part of this team, your primary duty is to build and realize assortment short and long-term development and growth strategy, to ensure assortment competitiveness and selection depth to satisfy all our target customer needs, to coordinate products sourcing and launch activities, to support Marketing, Success and Acquisition teams activities with products success stories, to follow industry and customer demand trends in terms of products.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for specific product categories, considering market trends, customer needs, and business goals, conduct category reviews to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Determine the range of products to be offered within assigned categories, based on customer demand, competitive analysis, and profitability
- Follow pricing strategies and monitor competitive pricing to drive sales and profitability.
- Plan and execute in cooperation with Product Marketing team promotional activities to increase category performance.
- Work with the Sales team to ensure that the products are well-positioned and promoted to maximize sales and profitability
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities, evaluate category performance, and recommend strategies for improvement
- Collaborate with multiple teams to enhance the product category pages, search functionality, and overall customer experience
What you need
- At least 1 year of experience with product category management or procurement
- Customer focus to maximize business results, capability to develop and influence strategy at senior levels both for customers and manufactures
- Excellent quantitative problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good Excel skills
- Being accurate to details
- An independent sense of self-motivation
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic start-up environment
- Attention to detail, a willingness to learn and a motivation for success.
- Excellent command of English
