The Role
We’re looking for a highly motivated self-starter and team player with sales experience to join our growing team as a Business Development Representative. The ideal candidate will cultivate relationships with prospective clients, develop a meaningful pipeline of qualified employers, and close deals. This individual will schedule meetings with employers in order to understand their needs and participate in every part of the sales and contracting process. They will also work closely with the founders and partnerships team to uncover new leads, progress opportunities and manage their pipeline.
Responsibilities include:
- Generate appointments through a mix of inbound leads, working with channel partners, and proactive outbound prospecting
- Work directly with leadership to qualify opportunities
- Lead pitch meetings and close deals with clients
- Update and maintain forecast for generated opportunities
- Travel to marketing and channel partner events to generate leads
- Demonstrate and teach strong selling and influencing skills
- Utilize best in breed tools to segment, and multiply outbound efforts
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Willing to travel 10% for conferences, partner events, and client meetings
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Comfortable in a velocity sales environment
- Experience with keeping maintaining pipelines and deal stages in CRMs (HubSpot preferred)
- Preferred cold calling experience
- Preferred channel partner experience
Savi Benefits:
- D.C. based is preferred. Our team’s hybrid homebase is at the Midtown Center DC WeWork location. Remote virtual is accommodatable as well.
- Salary range: $50K-60K base, $50k commission target ($100k-$110k OTE)
- Full time
