Director, Creator Amplification

Role overview

The Director, Creator Amplification will lead and grow ShopMy’s most important creator relationships, overseeing an 8 person team responsible for the company’s highest-value creators and the revenue engine they drive. This role is accountable for nurturing top-tier creators, driving their long-term success, and translating their needs directly into the business. As the person closest to our most influential users, you will serve as the internal voice of the creator, shaping product priorities, informing marketing strategies, and ensuring the company stays deeply aligned with the people who have defined ShopMy from the beginning.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, performance, and growth of ShopMy’s top creator segment.
  • Lead, manage, and develop the VIP Creator team, setting clear goals and ensuring consistent execution.
  • Oversee VIP creator portfolios, using data and qualitative insights to identify opportunities, intervene where needed, and drive measurable GMV and retention improvements.
  • Serve as a senior external point of contact for high-value creators; step in on key relationships and priority accounts.
  • Establish and refine team processes, reporting rhythms, documentation, and performance standards as the VIP function scales.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Community, and Events to improve the creator experience, support lifecycle initiatives, and enhance creator-facing tooling.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape the future structure and strategy of the VIP organization within the new GM of Creator model.

  • A rigorous, insight-driven approach to creator performance, where the team continuously refines playbooks, uncovers small optimizations that lead to major gains, and helps creators break new records quarter after quarter.
  • Exceptional cross-functional alignment, ensuring Product and Marketing have a direct line to creator feedback and are building the tools, features, and programs that accelerate growth for our most important users.
  • You are seen across the company as the leader who understands our top creators better than anyone and translates that into business-defining decisions.

New York Pay Range

$160,000 - $175,000 USD

The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation. ShopMy is flexible pending candidate's experience and how our business needs evolve throughout the search. Every employee of ShopMy receives equity on top of cash compensation!
