As a Lead Data Scientist on the Care Model Insights team, you will provide technical guidance and leadership to help design, build, and maintain Thyme Care’s suite of population health analytics and data products. The data products built and maintained by the Care Model Insights team allows Thyme Care to identify members for our interventions, build operational metrics to measure our effectiveness in delivery of our interventions and ultimately measure the efficacy of our interventions on better outcomes for patients and our partners.
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders (Clinical Operations, Care Team, Product, etc) to understand the business, the outcomes we’re pushing toward and our operational cadences. It’s important that you also know how to prioritize deliverables. You will ensure that data from external sources and our internal applications is modeled, analyzed, and translated into high value insights to continuously evaluate and enhance Thyme Care’s care model. You will increase the usability of our data products to empower and educate users to derive their own insights as a self-service platform over time.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at Thyme Care. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other Thyme Care employees. In accordance with New York City law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York City is $170,000-$195,000. The salary range could be lower or higher than this if the role is hired in another location. We also believe that your personal needs and preferences should be taken into consideration so we allow some choice between equity and cash.
