YOUR ROLE

As an early member of our Partnership Operations team, you will have the opportunity to lead Thyme Care’s partnerships with health plans and risk-bearing entities by implementing our services. It will be important that you manage relationships across all leadership levels with our payer partners to best drive Thyme Care’s impact from post-contract signing to launch and beyond.

You’ll need to be able to hit the ground running, immediately serving as the primary point of contact for our partners: to do this, you’ll need to be able to manage large cross-functional initiatives, internal and external relationships, including members of senior leadership teams, and have the ability to create structure and determine the right path forward within ambiguous environments. This role requires you to flex across the full spectrum of strategy and execution, including bringing you into the weeds of processes and synthesizing information to create and deliver executive-level presentations.

  • After 3 months, you will…
    • Understand the strategy and components of our new health plan implementation process and the corresponding tools and templates used to manage the process.
    • Build strong, trusting relationships with Operations leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Be up to speed on our business, member engagements, payer partnerships, and provider relationships.
    • Serve as the primary lead of your first partner implementations with support from your manager and context from the team.
    • Develop and continually improve the process for managing ongoing partner operations.
    • Share best practices in implementation, account management, and executive relationship management based on previous relevant experience at other organizations.
    • Develop strong relationships with your assigned partners through effective stakeholder management, including leading joint operating committee meetings and providing quarterly business reviews to health plan leadership.
    • Partner with Thyme Care’s growth team to operationally support new health plan or risk-bearing entity sales and renewal/upsell for existing partners.

WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS

  • Act with our members in mind. Thyme Care’s mission, particularly our member experience, matters deeply to you.
  • Move with purpose. You’re biased to action. You know how to identify and prioritize your initiative’s needs and do what it takes to ensure that urgent and vital needs are acted on immediately.
  • Seek diverse perspectives. You are humble and proactively seek feedback from others. You’re always looking to learn and grow.
  • Relevant experience. You have several years of experience serving as the primary point of contact in implementing and/or account managing programs with health plans or risk-based entities. You have relevant work experience driving complex, multi-stakeholder projects in healthcare with executive oversight.
  • Day one readiness. You can immediately jump into implementation work, managing some of our existing partnerships and work streams.
  • Operator mindset. You can break things down into actionable steps and execute plans with ease. You’re comfortable surfacing blockers to plans and pivoting based on real-time feedback as needed.
  • Detail orientation. You are skilled in ensuring that all deliverables have t’s crossed and i’s dotted to ensure that our external-facing work represents Thyme Care well.
  • Comfort managing up. You demonstrate strong executive presence, communicating easily with internal leaders and external executives, including showing sound judgment in navigating sensitive stakeholder dynamics while avoiding pitfalls and incendiary topics.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. You have a proven track record of scoping large-scale and complex initiatives with high ambiguity and success within scaling businesses, fast-paced environments, and startups. You understand that rapid changes to the business, strategy, organization, and priorities are par for the course.
