We are seeking a dynamic leader to guide enterprise-level implementations that transform healthcare delivery. As Director of Project Management & Implementation, you will oversee complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives—partnering with health systems, payors/health plans, and employers to bring innovative solutions to life.

The Ideal Candidate
You are a strategic leader with 7+ years of experience in customer- or partner-facing roles, blending operational and technical expertise. You’ve successfully led implementations with major payers/health plans and enterprise healthcare systems (e.g., EMRs, practice management, RCM platforms), while also designing scalable workflows that improve patient intake, care coordination, and billing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute the organization's project management and implementation strategy

  • Lead a team of project management and implementation professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development

  • Oversee multiple simultaneous partner/customer implementation projects of varying complexity and scale

  • Design, obtain executive alignment on, and implement all relevant clinical, operational, and technical workflows required to successfully onboard new partners/customers

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex operational, technical, and policy challenges to ensure timely delivery of implementations

  • Establish and maintain relationships with senior leadership of partners/customers

  • Develop and implement standardized methodologies, tools, and best practices for project management and implementation

  • Create and maintain project portfolios, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and contingency planning

  • Gather technical requirements from partners/customers and collaborate with Engineering leadership to ensure successful integration

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the Project Management and Implementation team to enable more effective and efficient implementations at scale

  • Develop KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track implementation success and team performance

  • Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage a team of Implementation/Project Managers

  • Responsible for hiring, performance management, and professional development of team members

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align resources and priorities

  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned

Who You Are:

  • Required:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in implementation, project management, operations, account management, or change management

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field

  • Experience managing and developing a team of implementation or project management professionals

  • Proven track record of successfully leading enterprise-level technical implementations within the healthcare space (experience with EHR integrations or payor systems required)

  • Experience developing and implementing project management methodologies and best practices

  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulations, and industry trends

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to and negotiating with executive-level audiences

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business goals into actionable implementation plans

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Superior organizational and leadership abilities

  • Expert time management skills with proven ability to prioritize competing demands

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Advanced proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data visualization tools

  • Proficiency with Lucid chart or related software

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Prior experience working in startups

  • Experience working with health systems, employers, and/or insurance payers

  • Experience with value-based care and/or subcontractor arrangements

  • Experience implementing or delivering employer benefit programs

  • Work authorization/security clearance requirements:

  • Authorized or able to provide required documents to work in United States or Canada.
