The Director of Transformation will serve as a strategic leader and execution partner across the organization, helping to drive key cross-functional initiatives that align with business priorities. This role reports directly to a senior executive and work with leaders from clinical operations, product, technology, and people teams to accelerate progress on strategic priorities, driving business change, reducing friction, and ensure alignment and achievement of business goals as we grow and evolve.

What You’ll Do:

  • Essential Functions:

  • Partner with leadership to define, manage, and execute strategic transformation initiatives, often involving multiple teams or business units.

  • Act as a thought partner and leader on cross-functional projects (e.g., care delivery model innovation, new market launches, internal process optimization).

  • Build and manage project plans, workstreams, and governance structures to ensure accountability and progress against key milestones.

  • Drive organizational agility-facilitate cross-functional collaboration by aligning stakeholders, resolving roadblocks, and ensuring clear communication.

  • Create tools, frameworks, and documentation to operationalize and scale transformation efforts.

  • Identify opportunities to improve how we prioritize, communicate, and measure strategic initiatives.

  • Present progress updates and insights to executive leadership and other stakeholders.

  • Champion a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Who You Are:

  • Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, transformation, or program management, ideally with exposure to healthcare or health tech.

  • Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives through ambiguity and change.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; able to simplify the complex.

  • Experience in remote-first, fast-paced startup environments preferred.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to influence across levels and functions.

  • Comfortable switching between strategic thinking and rolling up your sleeves to execute.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare delivery models, digital health, or payer/provider ecosystems is a plus.

  • Adaptable and collaborative orientation

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus but not required.

  • Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in healthcare start-ups, particularly working with complex systems change management

  • MSK experience

Work authorization/security clearance requirements:

  • Authorized or able to provide required documents to work in United States or Canada.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
