What You’ll Do:

The Senior Data Analyst plays a critical role in supporting clinical, operational, and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, standardized data; developing and maintaining dashboards and reports in business intelligence (BI) tools; and managing data specifications and exchanges with external B2B partners. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with deep attention to data integrity and the ability to collaborate across clinical, technical, and external stakeholder teams.

Essential Functions:

Data Quality & Standards

  • Define, implement, and monitor data quality controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of clinical and operational data.

  • Establish and maintain data standards, definitions, and documentation (e.g., data dictionaries, metric definitions).

  • Proactively identify data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and partner with technical and business teams to resolve them.

  • Support data governance initiatives, including standardization of metrics and reporting across the organization.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).

  • Translate clinical and business requirements into clear, actionable visualizations for diverse audiences, including clinical leaders and executives.

  • Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.

  • Ensure alignment between reported metrics and approved data definitions and standards.

B2B Data Exchange & External Partnerships

  • Manage and document data specifications for B2B data exchanges with external partners, payers, and other healthcare entities.

  • Serve as a key analytics liaison with external partners, ensuring shared understanding of data structures, definitions, and quality expectations.

  • Validate inbound and outbound data feeds (e.g., claims, eligibility, quality, attribution) to ensure compliance with agreed-upon specifications.

  • Support onboarding of new value-based care partners and enhancements to existing data integrations.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner closely with clinical, operational, IT, and compliance teams to understand data needs and deliver reliable insights.

  • Communicate complex data concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to business analysts as needed.

Who You Are

  • Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Public Health, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience working with healthcare data in a clinical provider, payer, ACO, or value-based care environment.

  • Demonstrated experience with healthcare data types, including clinical (EHR/EMR), claims, eligibility, attribution, quality, and risk adjustment data.

  • Strong experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, complex healthcare datasets.

  • Proven experience establishing and monitoring data quality controls and data standards.

  • Experience managing data specifications and B2B data exchanges with external healthcare partners.

  • Nice-to-Haves:

  • Direct experience supporting value-based care programs (e.g., MSSP ACOs, Medicare Advantage, commercial VBC contracts).

  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards and measures (e.g., HEDIS, CMS quality measures, HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT).

  • Experience with population health analytics and cost-of-care analysis.

  • Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud-based analytics platforms.

Work authorization/security clearance requirements:

  • Authorized or able to provide required documents to work in United States or Canada.
