Under the general direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the Registered Dieticians is responsible for delivery of clinical nutrition services to Vori Health patients. Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the Registered Dietitian may develop processes and policies related to the delivery of nutritional services at Vori Health.


The ideal candidate will be innovative, enthusiastic, resilient, and an expert in food and retail trends.

What You’ll Do:

  • Essential Functions:

  • Oversee nutrition initiatives including partnerships and education, and work across the organization to ensure nutrition messaging and resources are current, accurate, consistent, and effective

  • Act as the subject matter expert related to nutrition

  • Collaborate with leadership on strategy development, effective management, decision-making, staff communication, and other activities to advance organizational goals and culture

  • Provide program measurement and reporting for leadership as requested

  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned

Who You Are:

  • Required:

  • Must be a Registered Dietitian

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 5 years of management level experience in Food and Nutrition Services.

  • Hold a valid ServSafe certification

  • Consistently interacts with all members of the organization in ways that enhance understanding, respect, cooperation and problem solving

  • Understands the approaches and methods of process improvement, including planning, setting priorities, systematic performance assessment, and implementation based on such assessment, and maintaining achieved improvement

  • Expertise in developing and implementing patient nutrition programs

  • Demonstrated track record of continuing education and/or post-graduate training in relevant areas

  • Enthusiasm for team collaboration and ability to support team so that they can practice at their highest level

  • Demonstrated competence and passion for digital care delivery or telehealth

  • Proven record of matching patient needs to treatment plans and proven record of implementing these plans safely and effectively

  • Ability to describe medical conditions in an understandable fashion

  • Ability to independently plan and manage complex projects and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication, proactive, growth mindset and collaborative working style

  • A strong sense of empathy, a compassionate outlook on clinical care and the ability to motivate patients into pushing their limits in a responsible, safe way

  • High speed internet + ability to work from home

  • Proficiency with computers, virtual care, database management and data tracking

  • Dedicated home office space- private and free from distractions and noise

  • Availability to work a varied schedule with daytime and early evening hours

  • Nice-to-Haves:

  • Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking

Schedule & Work Arrangement: This role offers a flexible schedule of approximately 8-20 hours per week. There is also the option for this position to be structured as an independent contractor role, depending on candidate preference and alignment.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
