About the Role

This is where you come in. Below, you’ll find what this role is all about—the impact you’ll drive, the challenges you’ll tackle, and what it takes to thrive at Addi. If you’re ready to be part of something big, keep reading.

What’s the mission you’ll drive

Launch and lead Addi's branded content practice by building the editorial foundation, formats, and publishing cadence that establish Addi as a trusted financial authority in Colombia. You will champion AI-augmented production to scale a consistent, high-quality editorial voice that earns audience trust, elevates brand sentiment, and expands Addi's organic reach.

What you will do

  • Launch Addi's Branded Content function: Define and launch Addi's first owned editorial content format by defining the core editorial concept, channel strategy, and quality standards, resulting in the successful deployment of one signature content pilot by month 6.

  • Audience & Engagement Growth: Drive measurable growth in Addi's owned content channels — establishing baseline audience metrics and delivering consistent month-over-month improvement in reach, engagement rate, and content-driven follower growth in partnership with the social media team.

  • Editorial Voice & Brand Consistency: Implement a clear editorial style guide and content governance framework that ensures voice consistency across all editorial content touchpoints from social formats to long-form editorial.

  • AI-Accelerated Content Production: Embed AI tools into at least two core editorial production workflows (e.g., research, format ideation, repurposing) without sacrificing editorial integrity or brand alignment.

What we’re looking for

Editorial Leadership & Journalistic Craft

  • Demonstrates 7+ years of experience in journalism or branded content with a portfolio that proves an ability to translate complex financial jargon into accessible Colombian narratives.

  • Possesses deep research rigor and the "editorial conscience": knows how to find the real story behind a topic, validate sources, and translate financial complexity into compelling, accessible narratives for diverse Colombian audiences.

  • Proven experience launching editorial products or content verticals from scratch not just maintaining existing formats, but building something new with a clear editorial thesis.

Branded Content & Audience Strategy

  • Understands the difference between advertising and editorial and how to walk the line between brand authority and genuine audience value without one undermining the other.

  • Experienced in designing content formats that build loyal audiences over time: newsletters, editorial series, podcast concepts, video-first stories, or social-native formats.

  • On top of content consumption trends knows what audiences in Colombia are watching, reading, and sharing, and how to translate those insights into format and topic decisions.

Social Media & Content Format Elevation

  • Strong collaborative instinct with social media teams: understands platform-native formats, production constraints, and engagement mechanics well enough to push content quality without slowing the team down.

  • Experience elevating social content from reactive to editorial — building content formats aligned with pillars, series logic, and production standards that make a brand's social presence feel intentional and distinctive.

Brand Voice & Editorial Governance

  • Proven ability to define and protect a brand's editorial voice — building style guides and editorial standards that translate voice, style, and tone into practical editorial context, scaling across a team without sounding rigid or mechanical.

  • Acts as the editorial conscience of the brand: the final check that ensures everything published reflects Addi's values, voice, and quality bar — whether it was written by a human or generated by AI.

AI Fluency & Curiosity

  • Already using AI tools in editorial workflows for research acceleration, content repurposing, ideation, or format experimentation. Actual hands-on usage, not theoretical awareness.

  • Can design prompts and editorial guardrails that allow AI to accelerate production without compromising the editorial voice or brand alignment that makes Addi's content distinctive.

  • Genuinely excited about what AI enables for a small, ambitious editorial team and equally clear-eyed about where human judgment is non-negotiable.

Adaptability & Resourcefulness

  • Comfortable building in ambiguity this is a greenfield role with no existing content practice, which means creating structure, workflows, and team standards from the ground up.

  • Thrives in fast-paced environments where priorities shift and production timelines compress. Can ship quality work under pressure without sacrificing the editorial standards that make the content worth publishing.

Why join us?

  • Build Something That Has Never Existed: This is a genuine blank-canvas opportunity. Addi has no editorial content practice yet. The person in this role gets to define what it is, what it stands for, and how it grows. That's rare at any stage of company.

  • A Platform That Actually Matters: Content about money, credit, and financial wellbeing reaches people at life-changing moments. This isn't lifestyle content it's editorial work with the potential to genuinely shift how Colombians relate to their finances and to Addi as a brand.

  • Editorial + AI at the Frontier: This role offers the opportunity to be one of the first editorial leaders to architect a truly AI-augmented content practice not retrofitting AI into an existing process, but designing the workflow from day one with AI as a native part of the stack.
