As the country’s leading Buy Now, Pay Later provider, we have secured regulatory approval to operate as a bank, unlocking even greater opportunities for our customers. In the past year, we have also achieved profitability, reinforcing the strength of our business model and our ability to scale sustainably.

Our mission has earned the trust of world-class investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Architect Capital, GIC, Goldman Sachs, Greycroft, Monashees, Notable Capital, Quona Capital, Union Square Ventures, Victory Park Capital, and more, who back our vision for the future. With their support, we are not just growing—we are transforming Latin America’s financial ecosystem and shaping the next generation to shop, pay, and bank in Colombia.

But what truly sets us apart is how we build. We are a conscious company, driven by deep experience in scaling technology, services and products, and we live by our values every day.

About the Role

This is where you come in. Below, you’ll find what this role is all about—the impact you’ll drive, the challenges you’ll tackle, and what it takes to thrive at Addi. If you’re ready to be part of something big, keep reading.

What’s the mission you’ll drive

Transform Addi’s closed-loop data into a high-margin retail media business by building the platform that turns deterministic attribution into a scalable revenue engine. You will prove merchant demand through manual pilots, architect the build-vs-buy strategy for our ad-tech stack, and launch the self-serve Sponsored Products MVP, ensuring ad monetization compounds marketplace growth without compromising the consumer experience.

What you will do

  • Phase 0 Validation: Successfully onboard 10+ "anchor" merchants into manual sponsored placements, achieving a verifiable conversion lift (e.g., >15%) and securing documented "willingness to pay" for a self-serve version.

  • Ad-Tech Architecture & Strategy: Deliver a comprehensive "Build vs. Buy" recommendation to the CPO/CTO, evaluating at least 3 vendors against an internal build, accounting for COP currency nuances and data residency.

  • MVP Launch & Adoption: Lead the cross-functional delivery of the Self-Serve Sponsored Products MVP (Search & Placements), reaching a milestone of $Xk in Monthly Ad Revenue with a 90% merchant retention rate.

  • Structural Advantage Integration: Achieve 100% "closed-loop" instrumentation accuracy, linking every ad impression directly to a confirmed repayment event in the data warehouse to provide "un-fudgable" ROAS to merchants.

  • Marketplace Integrity: Maintain organic North Star metrics (CTR/Conversion) within +/- 2% of baseline, ensuring ad load does not degrade the core shopping experience.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven Expertise in Retail Media & Auction Dynamics

    • Deep understanding of CPC/CPM monetization models, second-price auctions, and the technical mechanics of ad-quality scoring.

    • Direct experience managing the tension between ad load and organic conversion to maintain marketplace health.

    • Ability to define and implement closed-loop attribution models that link impressions directly to bottom-line repayment data.

Track Record of 0-to-1 Product Building & Manual Validation

    • Demonstrated ability to "hustle" through a Phase 0, using manual workarounds and spreadsheets to prove merchant demand before committing engineering resources.

    • Experience taking a product from a conceptual pilot to a scalable, automated self-serve platform.

    • High tolerance for ambiguity and the initiative to create playbooks where none exist.

Demonstrates Strategic Influence and "Gravitas" Without Authority

    • Capable of navigating complex build-vs-buy decisions and presenting rigorous technical recommendations to C-level stakeholders (CPO/CTO).

    • Ability to align cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Data) around a shared ads roadmap without direct reporting lines.

    • Skilled at managing internal stakeholders who may view ad monetization as a risk to the core user experience.

Possesses Strong Merchant Empathy and B2B GTM Sense

    • Expertise in translating complex ad-tech performance metrics (ROAS, Incrementality) into compelling value propositions for merchant partners.

    • Ability to partner with Sales teams to create effective pitch decks, onboarding flows, and merchant-facing reporting dashboards.

    • Insight into merchant unit economics and budget cycles, specifically within the retail and e-commerce landscape.

Experienced in Data-Driven Architecture and AI-Powered Optimization

    • Advanced proficiency in auditing data pipelines and event tracking to ensure 100% accuracy in performance reporting.

    • Practical understanding of how to apply Machine Learning or AI for bid prediction, targeting refinement, and creative optimization.

    • Ability to speak fluently with engineers about API integrations, latency requirements, and ad-serving infrastructure.

Exhibits Addi’s "Stellar" Profile (High Confidence, Low Ego)

    • Strong enough to challenge existing assumptions and push for a "bank-level" standard of data integrity in ad reporting.

    • Humble enough to collaborate deeply with the Marketplace team, ensuring the ads business compounds—rather than cannibalizes—the core product.

    • Resilient and self-motivated, with a "founder mindset" regarding the success of this new revenue line.
